Privacy Policy

Mokubee LLC ("Mokubee," "we," "us") runs www.mokubee.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect as little as possible, and we never sell your personal information.
Information we collect
- When you email us: your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write to us.
- When you place an order: your name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number (if provided) and order details. Orders are processed by our e-commerce and payment providers. Mokubee never sees or stores your full card number.
- Automatically: our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.
How we use it
- To fulfill, ship and support your orders, including returns and refunds
- To answer your questions and respond to feedback
- To keep the site secure and working
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
We will only send you marketing email if you have asked to receive it, and every marketing email will include a way to unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only what they need: our website host (Cloudflare), our online store and checkout provider (such as Shopify), payment processors, shipping carriers, and our email provider. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies
Our own pages do not set tracking cookies. When our store is live, the checkout and cart provided by our store provider may use cookies that are needed to keep items in your cart and complete your purchase. You can block cookies in your browser, but the cart may not work without them.
Do Not Track
Because we do not track you across other websites, we do not change our practices in response to "Do Not Track" signals.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as needed for tax, accounting and warranty purposes (typically up to seven years), and emails only as long as needed to help you.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, subject to records we must keep by law. Email info@mokubee.com with your request. Depending on where you live (for example, Texas or California), you may have additional rights under state law. We will not treat you differently for exercising them.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and payments are handled by PCI-compliant payment providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted here with a new effective date.
